Tony Blair and Elizabeth II invited on Margaret Thatcher`s 80-th anniversary
Ex-premier-minister of Great Britain Margaret Thatcher celebrates her 80-th Jubilee this Thursday. Among invited are current head of minister cabinet Tony Blair and Queen Elizabeth II.
Unfortunately, ex-president of USSR Michael Gorbachev will not attend this celebration. He will meet with Thatcher only next week during his visit to London.
Margaret Thatcher was a premier from 1979 to 1990. She became the first woman-head of government in Great Britain history. She rarely appears on public nowadays because doctors advised her to refrain from public performances several years ago.
